Subtitle Everything turns the sound around you into readable captions. This page explains what stays on your iPhone, what third-party services receive, and the choices you have.
Audio, captions and history
The app uses your microphone to transcribe speech locally on your device. Your microphone audio is not uploaded to our servers. Captions, saved histories, titles and summaries are stored on your device. We do not receive their content. If you choose to share a transcript using the iOS share sheet, your chosen destination will receive what you share.
Local AI features
Speech recognition uses a model included with the app. Where available, formatting, search and summarization use Apple’s on-device technologies. Translation can use Apple system services and may require language downloads or system-provided processing; Apple’s terms and privacy practices apply to those services.
Advertising
Subtitle Everything is supported by advertising and may display ads from Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may process data such as advertising identifiers (where available), device and app information, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads. We do not give AdMob your microphone audio or transcript content.
Where required, the app displays a consent form before requesting ads. You can review your choices through Privacy options in the app’s Settings when available. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads. Google’s practices are described in its Privacy Policy and ads information.
Support email
If you email us, we receive your address and any details you choose to send. We use that information to answer your message and retain it only as long as reasonably needed for support.
This website
This website does not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers. It does not ask you to create an account.
Your choices
You can delete histories inside the app or remove the app to delete its locally stored data. You can change relevant device permissions in iOS Settings. Advertising privacy choices are available in the app where required.
